CISC, founded in 1999 by CEO Dr Markus Pistauer, is a design and consulting service company for industries developing embedded microelectronic systems with extremely short time-to-market cycles. Core competences and activities cover system design, modeling, simulation, verification and optimization of heterogeneous embedded microelectronic systems with a particular focus on automotive and RFID systems. CISC has developed the SyAD® (System Architect Designer) platform, the first tool which supports system design, partitioning, simulation and verification of highly heterogeneous microelectronic systems. It provides seamless design and integration of concurrent, homogenous and non-homogemous developed subsystems within an easy to use co-simulation framework. Dr Pistauer is a technical advisor to the Neosera board.

Synopsys System-Level Catalyst Program

Since 2010 Neosera Systems has been a member of the Synopsys System-Level Catalyst Program, to provide the RHEiMS system-level tool suite and to forge closer ties with industry-leading tools.

Prof Christian Steger leads a research group, active in the areas of embedded real-time systems, hardware/software co-design and power-aware computing. The group is involved in many national and international research projects and also several commercially sponsored initiatives. Over the past decade Prof Steger has published over sixty internationally recognised papers and is a technical advisor to the Neosera board.

Neosera is now a member of the National Microelectronics Institute. Their mission is to build and support a strong semiconductor community and act as the catalyst and facilitator for sector development.
